CAN I BUY TICKETS DAY-OF?

Yes! Tickets can be purchased online day-of or you can head to the stadium and buy tickets directly at the Dragons Box Office which is open on Deck the Diamond dates from 10AM-9PM on weekdays and 5PM-9PM on weekends. The Dragons front offices will be closed during the holidays (11/25 - 11/27 and 12/21 - 1/2).  On these dates, the Dragons Box Office will be open from 5PM - 9PM.There is an added $2 fee to buy day-of.

HOW LONG IS DECK THE DIAMOND OPEN?

Deck the Diamond will begin on November 13, 2026, and will run on select nights until January 2, 2027. The event will take place nightly 6PM - 9PM on weeknights and 5:30PM - 9PM on Fridays - Sundays. Please see the Calendar Page for specific dates Deck the Diamond will not be open.

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS TO DECK THE DIAMOND?

Tickets for Deck the Diamond are on sale now and may be purchased at Buy Tickets. Admission is $13.50 for all dates.  Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Dragons Box Office or by calling (937) 228-2287 x290.

CAN I HOST OUR HOLIDAY PARTY AT DECK THE DIAMOND?

We'd love to host your holiday celebration here at Day Air Ballpark during Deck the Diamond. We have event spaces at the ballpark that can accommodate anywhere from 20-225 guests. Please head to Private Events tab at the top of the page or click here to submit your info.

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT TO DO AT DECK THE DIAMOND?

In addition to enjoying over 1.5 million stunning lights, guests will be able to roast s'mores at fire pits located around the ballpark and enjoy sweet holiday treats and winter cocktails. Children will have the opportunity to meet and have their photos taken with Santa.  In addition, kids can write letters to Santa, create their own ornament and beaded festive bracelets, and shop at the Merry Market.  Families can also ride the North Pole Express train.All activities, excluding the North Pole Express train and S'more Fire Pits, are included with the cost of your ticket.

IS THIS A DRIVE-THRU EXPERIENCE?

No, Deck the Diamond is a "walk-thru" experience that takes you all the way around Day Air Ballpark. Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather, so you can enjoy the night in comfort.

WHERE CAN WE FIND PARKING?

Parking near Day Air Ballpark can be found on various side streets or metered spots are FREE starting at 6PM on weekdays and FREE on weekends. WHERE CAN WE FIND DRAGONS MASCOTS?

Dragons mascots will make periodic appearances (they may not be at every date of Deck the Diamond).  If they are attending, they can be found with Santa inside Santa’s Clubhouse unless there’s special visiting characters.

WHERE ARE THE RESTROOMS LOCATED?

Men’s and women’s restrooms will be open along both baselines.

WHERE CAN I WARM UP?

Several locations throughout Deck the Diamond will be heated, including Santa’s Workshop (Sam Adam's Pub), Santa’s Clubhouse (Batting tunnel at the end of the third baseline), and the Merry Market (Team Store).

IS THERE SOMEWHERE I CAN PARK A STROLLER?

Yes, stroller parking will be available behind certain sections on the concourse. The area will be marked with signage.

WHERE CAN I GET S'MORES KITS?

Family S’mores Kits will be available for purchase at Frosty’s Fireside Treats located by the back gates behind lawn D and Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck located near the Dragons Lair in leftfield. They are $15 and have enough supplies to create 8 s’mores.

HOW CAN I GET MY PHOTOS FROM THE FRONT PAGE NEWS PHOTO BOOTH?

All photos taken at the Front-Page News Photo Booth can be sent to your phone via email and/or downloaded online from the Dayton Daily News website link included in the email.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE SCAVENGER HUNT?

The Deck the Diamond Scavenger Hunt info can be found on the back of the event map.You can play using a handout provided or picked up at our Day Air Credit Union Customer Service Booth (easier version) or only use QR codes to figure out the route. Once you’ve found all locations, collect your prize at the Merry Market (Team Store).

HOW OFTEN DOES THE SHOW RUN?

The lights will dance approximately every three songs, which is about every 10 minutes. The entire playlist is about three hours.
